FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A licensing exam application is a form that a candidate must submit for taking a professional licensing exam. This exam assesses the candidate’s knowledge and skills in a particular field, and determines whether or not they meet the qualifications required to practice in that profession.
The licensing exam application process varies depending on your profession or the organization administering the exam. In general, you need to fill out an application form, submit required documentation, and pay associated fees. In most cases, checking out the official website of the company/profession you are taking an exam for helps as additional research.
The documentation you need to submit for a licensing exam depends on the profession or the organization that is administering your exam. Commonly required documents are proof of education, proof of training, proof of work experience, and a copy of your government-issued ID (NIC).
Again, these requirements may vary depending on the profession and organization taking the exam. Meeting certain criteria for education and work experience is necessary (and sometimes even passing a basic background check).
In case of rejection or denial of a licensing exam, the organization that is administering the exam will provide a reason to you for the denial and the instructions you should take to re-apply in the future.
